Before we begin, we talk about your needs and
concerns. We also cover what has worked well for you in past massages. Then
I create a session which respects your comfort zone. Layer by layer, I work
with your body to erase patterns of stress, tension and discomfort. The end
result is to bring you to a place where you can realize the greatest
healing.
Massage is an experience for all the senses. Therefore, whether you receive
therapeutic or relaxation massage, services provided in my office include
soothing music, the gentle sound of a trickling water fountain, soft lighting,
and post-treatment, hot aromatherapy towels, and spring water. A heated massage table is also an option.
The bodyCushion™ (a special orthopedic support system for the massage table),
a moist heating pad, and/or a deep tissue massage
machine are also used, as needed, at no extra charge.
